To cry and get sad over a Hellary loss and to think she would have been a great president is just foolishness. Both of them are led by the antichrist spirit, so take your pick. Jesus warns us to test a spirit to see if it is of God or not; neither of them are.
Also, you are right about treating others as we would like to be treated, but do not be deceived like Jesus says; the refugee crisis for the most part is an excuse to bring in Isis members into North America with no questions asked and destroy the continent from within.
Also, try to know Jesus better and don't get too caught up with Catholicism, since the Vatican is pure evil and doesn't teach Godly things. I am 100% Polish as well, was brought up catholic and all, Polish school on Saturdays and church on Sundays, but broke free the last few years from all the deception. Jesus is hope and that's all you need, not some demonic criminal witch.Dzieckohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15042858440820423408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8024452810108480973.post-85833643881979763552016-11-20T13:11:21.201-05:002016-11-20T13:11:21.201-05:00Anonymous - I enjoy conversation. What I can't get, however, is that people support a man that is a bigot and admitted he has sexual assaulted women, ect. I understand people want change, but I simply can't get past the behavior of the President-elect. And I can't get past the things people are doing now that follow in line with that they think Trump America is about.

Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06970722739917121208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8024452810108480973.post-65510287246448467812016-11-20T13:00:48.697-05:002016-11-20T13:00:48.697-05:00Sarah J - your comment brightened my day. However, I am very disappointed that everyone chooses to paint with such a broad brush instead of have a conversation of understanding! That is the problem occurring on both sides.

Again, the issues that were important to me in the election are not the same as others. Indeed, I care about LEGAL immigration. I care about states rights. No matter the law, I feel like individuals need reform on social issues. My views may differ, but I can have an intellectual conversation about them instead of painting the opposing side as a xenophobic, bigot. Since the election I t...Dearest, loveliest Joanna,

Since the election I too have been shell-shocked, stunned and sad, feeling like we took a giant step backwards after all the progress I thought we made. I took a break from both the news and the Internet and did not see your newest blog entry until today. I have always been able to tell that you are an exceptional woman and a very special person and the way you stood your ground with your post about the election solidified my conviction. You’ve single-handedly restored my bruised faith in humanity as you reminded me of what I’ve been doing wrong. I focused all my energy on the hateful people who try to justify and normalize racism, bigotry and misogyny for their personal gains and I forgot that this world is filled with incredible and loving people like you and your brave family. The majority of the American people voted against hate and we must never forget this. Thanks to you and your decision to write this blog entry, I feel like I’ve regained my joy and inner peace.

Your family’s history is heroic and inspirational and it is so beautiful and important that you take time to share this with everyone in these confusing times. Your honorable grandmother’s perseverance gives hope in its strongest form and with your talent to reach people’s hearts with your words, I truly wish that one day you will write a book about your grandmother so that everyone can draw strength from her powerful legacy. It reminds us that the darkest night does not frighten away the sun from rising every morning.

As for the comment left by “Anonymous”, it defies comprehension how anyone living in the free world can be disappointed in someone exercising the First Amendment of the Constitution, especially when so many brave soldiers give their lives for it. Is not the freedom and the right to express one’s views the true glory and spirit of being an American? There is a dangerous difference between disagreeing with someone’s opinions and being disappointed that they have and express an opinion. Not only does it dishonor the founding fathers and the entire US Army who fights for those rights, but it’s also highly arrogant and incredibly rude.

I pray for all those children who after the election face more hate crimes at school due to the emboldened bigots. I especially pray for the children who are scared to death that their families are going to be torn apart. My definition of a monster is someone who rips families apart. God is still on the thrown and the protector of all of us and where we human beings fail, God’s mercy and justice will prevail. This too shall pass and what seems like a setback will become a setup to inspire those, who believe like Anne Frank did that there is still good in people, to love harder, fight smarter and stand up louder to finally prove that love trumps hate and that we are always STRONGER TOGETHER!

THANK YOU JOANNA! <3
Sarah Jnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8024452810108480973.post-19316275603355062932016-11-14T20:27:28.221-05:002016-11-14T20:27:28.221-05:00"It has always been the way in our home, but ..."It has always been the way in our home, but I will continue to emphasize these points." Disappointed? Certainly not in me...as I established it is always been the way in our home.

And with the way people have been after the election results, with hate crimes for example, this is a point that needs to be made. Certainly not everyone has a message of love and caring to spread to others.

As for my grandparents, you are missing my point. My grandmother, and grandfather for that matter, lived through hell. They were escaping hell...and if it weren't for open arms, I can't imagine how much harder their life would have been. Trump talked about suspending immigration from certain countries...war torn countries. My history certainly was an issue with this election, which is why it is such a hot button for me.

Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06970722739917121208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8024452810108480973.post-83663490333205910352016-11-14T18:43:09.704-05:002016-11-14T18:43:09.704-05:00I am more than a little disappointed that you went...I am more than a little disappointed that you went there. We should be teaching our children those things regardless. Did your grandparents flee to America legally? If so, your history is a nonissue in this election. I'm not sure why people are trying to make him a monster when he's just trying to secure our borders!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
