New Website! Pilot Wife Healthy Minute Meals



I did it...I started a new blog!  Pilot Wife Healthy Minute Meals.

I hope this is a good resource for pilot wives to prepare healthy meals on the quick when our husbands are gone.  It is so easy for us to let nutrition fall by the wayside when our pilots are gone.  We owe it to our kids and to ourselves to make an effort to eat healthy.  I hope my new blog helps keep all of us motivated to keep healthy foods on our table.

  1. I was *just* discussing this with my husband. I need to make more of an effort to feed the kids real food when he is gone. It is difficult to motivate myself to cook when its just me and the kids. I have gotten into a bad habit of making them "kid" foods (*cough* frozen chicken nuggets *cough*) and microwaving a Lean Cuisine for myself. This has to change.

    1. Yes, make the effort! The meals I post really are quick...minutes quick. You can do it! You and your kids will feel so much better when eating real foods. You can do it!
